Mike is, above all else, an academic. Fascinated with the uncompromising and unencumbered pursuit of knowledge, he lives to learn from others. His main interests are music and public policy, and if you have had more than a five-minute conversation with him, he has likely forced you to tell him everything you know about these two things. He is also a humorist, aiming to capture the charming idiosyncrasies and extravagances of the world with his pen. As an undergraduate at Stanford, Mike busied himself with musical endeavors such as the Stanford Fleet Street Singers, Ram’s Head Theatrical Society, and his band Two Mikes from Jersey and the Exit 9 Band. Next year, he will pursue a Master’s Degree in Music Composition at Queen’s University Belfast. He is also an avid New York Jets fan, lover of dogs and cats, and adventure games aficionado. |
