Omar is from Fontana, California and is attending UC Riverside, majoring in Environmental Science. His passion in life is helping people, because he believes that each person he helps in any way possible will benefit everyone in this world. He plans on using his Environmental Science degree and his Master’s in Education to help others. His free time is filled with family and close friends. He writes poetry to clear his mind and soul, and does karate just to have fun and to stay physically fit. His take on life has been that things happen in life for reasons that we do not know, so be happy for what you have and never forget where you come from. Be patient and focus on where you are going. This philosophy is what has allowed him to stay focused and happy through all of life’s trials and tribulations.
